COVID-19 Resources and Updates
In an effort to keep our members informed on the latest news, resources, and information during this unprecedented time, the Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce, is making access to what you need to know quick and simple.
CARES ACT
The CARES Act has approved $350 billion in emergency loans for small businesses to help them keep workers employed. In fact, if small businesses maintain or later restore their payrolls, they may not have to repay some—or possibly any—of the loan. We encourage you to utilize the U.S. Chamber’s Coronavirus Emergency Loans Small Business Guide and Checklist at www.txbiz.org/corona to help answer common questions and navigate the process. Please do NOT hesitate to contact our office at 409-267-4190 for assistance in answering any of your questions or concerns. If we do not know the answer directly, we will work to find someone that does.
CHAMBERS COUNTY RESOURCES
The Chambers County Department of Economic Development and Grant Management developed a list of resources for small business owners. Read through those resources here.

ENTERGY TEXAS RESOURCES
Entergy is committed to making sure they are here for the community in times of need. Beyond ensuring reliable and affordable power during this time, we are also looking for how we can share helpful resources with our customers.

We have created a hub of resources for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, including information on the benefits made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. That hub can be found here: www.entergy.com/txsmbiz. The site builds on the great work of so many of our community partners across Southeast Texas and is another set of resources for our small businesses.
